Signal Intelligence

Pulling visible public market evidence — competitor pricing, reviews, ads, search demand — into a working view before making decisions.

What it is

Signal intelligence = the practice of reading the market from public data. Reviews, ad creative, search demand, pricing pages, customer language. Already there. Most teams don't look.

What it's not

Not surveys. Not focus groups. Not expert interviews. Signal intelligence uses observable behavior, not stated intent.

Why it works

People say one thing in a survey and do another in real life. Public behavior — what they search, review, buy, complain about — is higher fidelity than what they tell you.

How to apply

Pick one decision on your desk. Identify which signal best answers it (pricing → pricing pages; positioning → reviews; channel → ad spend). Pull the data. Read the pattern.
