Brand Positioning

The specific job your brand does in a buyer's mind — the one thing they'd say if a friend asked what you do.

What it means

Positioning is what gets said when you're not in the room. It's the one-line answer a customer gives a friend when asked "why do you use them?"

What it's not

Positioning is not your tagline. Not your "About" page. Not your mission statement. Those are outputs. Positioning is the source.

How to find yours

Pull 30+ verbatim customer quotes. Find the 3 phrases that repeat. The one that overlaps with what you uniquely do = your positioning. Everything else is noise.

Why it matters

Without positioning, every paid ad starts from scratch. Every content post explains who you are. Every sales call begins with "well, we do many things." With positioning, the work compounds.
