What it is
Measured by search demand share, social mention share, ad spend share, organic ranking share. Different channels measure different ways.
Common mistake
Counting only one channel's share. Voice on LinkedIn doesn't predict voice on Google or in podcasts.
Healthy pattern
Share of voice tracks share of market with a 6-12 month lead. Rising SoV usually predicts rising market share.
