The anchor-to-modal ratio holds across SaaS at ~3-4x. The modal-to-floor ratio runs ~3-5x. Categories with stronger differentiation (CRM, marketing automation, vertical SaaS) push anchor higher; categories near commodity (productivity, collab) compress ratios.
Stage matters more than category for the absolute price band. Early-stage anchors run 50-70% of late-stage anchors in the same category. The modal tier moves 20-30% over the same lifecycle.
