Time to Value (TTV)
How long from signup until the buyer feels the product worked.
What it is
TTV is the first 'aha' moment. Often the strongest churn predictor in SaaS.
Common mistake
Confusing TTV with onboarding completion. Onboarding can finish without value being felt.
Healthy pattern
Strong SaaS TTV: under 7 days. Strong DTC TTV: same-day usage. Strong services TTV: first deliverable in week 1.
